baby blue coat winter 2017This year, I really have adored pearl embellishments on clothing. There was that one grey sweater from Zara draped in pearls, which I continuously saved to my instagram archive every time I saw it fabulously worn in an ‘ootd’ post. Unfortunately, it was always sold out! Luckily, I found this beautiful sweater from Sandro. Here is my take on a pearl embellishment work outfit with a relaxed and oversized fit.

I thought this sweater worked well for an office look – not too many pearls but concentrated at the neck where it is most noticeable. It especially pops when worn with this coat. I spotted this powdery baby blue coat in the window display of Korean clothing brand Blanc & Eclare in Soho, NYC. The colour was so divine I just had to try it. The fit is oversized, almost cocoon style and extremely warm!

These Stuart Weitzman shoes have been my ultimate obsession since I bought them in NYC in September last year. I have worn them over and over, perfect for the office for that slightly boyish look, but still so elegant.

This outfit was so comfortable to wear and pulls together beautifully with the combination of luxurious textures – silk shirt, soft wool sweater, and velvet shoes, with the additional touch of glam from the pearly details!
